Cleveland bred & Cleveland fed. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth & had  always considered my family to be poor because we didn't live in the best neighborhoods and because there were so many of us kids; we weren't able to partake in a lot of materialistic trends.my younger sibs & I delt with a lot adolescent bullshyt because of it. must admit I blamed my parents for a lot of it. now as an adult, I realize in spite of our circumstances,we wasnt poor. my parents worked and hustled hard to support our family. WE always had a roof, nice cars, we never went hungry and holidays were litty!

But anyway, both of my parents were hustlers. my dad one of the best cooks I know was always doing something to get money. He fix cars, sold drugs, worked odd jobs. he was a street nigga, and because of that he was in and out jail a lot of my childhood. I learned how to get money at an early age by watching him and my mom hustle. Mom worked so much, we barely saw her. I had to learn to take care of myself and my siblings at a very early age. I think that's why I'm so independent now. All I think about is ways to get money forreal. I use my creative ideas & hobbies to do it.

My mom had me when she was 19 and because of that, she didn't graduate from high school. I'm not dragging my parents, they were just kids that made some questionable decisions. You can't understand me, without knowing a little bit about them. They were very young when they got married, we grew up together. I'm more like a friend to my parents and I'm more of mother to my younger brothers and sisters. To this day my relationship with my father is strained and basically non-existent for a lot of reasons.

My mom was adamant about me "doing better", and not following in their footsteps. So even though I'm from the "hood", I am the 1st of ALL my siblings to graduate from high school and/or college. I attended the Cleveland School of Performing Arts, majored in theatre and minored in photography. I have a bachelors of science Hospitality Management degree from Kent State University. I also have various awards for completing leadership and hospitality courses during an internship at Disney World. I have tons of real world work experience. I've worked just about every sector of the hospitality industry, including transportation. I even worked at yellowstone national park! I've been fortunate enough to see a lot of cool places in this country because I love to travel and I have a cdl.

I also took multiple Courses at the Wilton School of  Cake Decorating, in chicago! Its there I learned how to properly make French Macarons & Doughnuts.

Believe me when I say none of these accomplishments came easy! Life is already hard, but it's even harder when you are born with the odds against you. I've survived more than one abusive relationship, romantic or otherwise. I've endured hate from family and workplace discrimination for obvious reasons. Friends became foes and I had to let them go. I've been lied to, laughed at, talked about, judged and criticized. In spite of it all, I'm still here! I'm still rising and I won't stop. I refuse to give into the bullshit or let it stop me from achieving my goals and that's what makes me bossy. I am the boss of my life!

Bossy Bakery Boutique was destined to happen. I built everything about this brand. From the name, to the logos, website and the moves. Grinding helps me stay focused. Building thE Bossy Brand is no easy feat. Finding and outlet for my creative juices is therapy for me. I get high off creating something with my mind & hands. I am the queen of ideas & The best feeling in the world is when someone says my desserts are like nothing they've ever had. I love to bake & build brands. I can't wait to see where this passion takes me in life.
